Heroes: "do not use skill" option
I like that you can queue up a skill and have a green check to symbolize it will be used as soon as possible, but could we have a red X usable to signify a DO NOT USE THIS SKILL?..
It would make running heroes with scenario specific skills like Shock or Heal party very nice. Simply disable the skill usage until you need it, queue it up, and then put it back on disable.
Sorry if this has already been mentioned.. I searched, found nothing.. as far as I know this is not in game and has not been suggested.

I've been thinking exactly the same thing during the preview event. There were several times I wanted to pack a skill which I didn't want heroes to use except on special occasions. It's be great if we had the option to restrict the hero from using one or more skills (it'd be better if we could disable more than one at a time) on his own and only use them when we tell him to.

uh-huh. That'd be nice. I'm thinking right mouse click to deny usage, left mouse click to force usage. Click again whichever button you had clicked to return skill to AI control.

Yeah, well hero's aren't going to have perfect AI since they have to be able to use everything in the game. If you don't want a specific skill to be used at inoporutne times... don't bring it maybe?

Good idea. I didn't come across any specific times when I would have needed such an option, but I can think of such situations occuring.

That's why this suggestion was made. To supplement AI with human decision-making. As it is, entire classes of skills are difficult to use effectively, such as traps and long-recharge stances. I tried those on the ranger hero, but she consistently used Whirling Defense whenever it was recharged. That might work for Dunham with Distortion, but it made whirling a waste.

This would be very useful, aswell as an option to always use skill - they don't use mantra of recall EVER :|

/signed, I'd like to disable all the henchies res signets except one, that way they ALL wouldn't stop what they were doing to res if someone died.

The whole point of this kind of discussion is to request that a particular, and in this case, much-needed feature gets added BEFORE THE GAME GOES GOLD. It's not "wanting more stuff," it's a request to tune what was granted, after playtesting this weekend.
You've never beta-tested before, have you?
